A former Executive Chef with over a decade of experience in international professional kitchens, Vineet left his culinary career to reengineer the struggling family metal finishings business his father had founded. Leveraging India's emerging manufacturing capabilities in the early 1990s, he repositioned Gemixx as a design-oriented premium flatware manufacturing powerhouse. Vineet pioneered a high-cost handmade philosophy that more than doubled average SKU price points and tripled artisan compensation. He also created one of the flatware industry's first private zero-interest lending programs, empowering historically disadvantaged artisan groups to build independent production units.
